The weathered style seems to be all the rage at the German company: another blank-firing firearm has now been released, hard on the heels of the 1911 pistol in "used" look. But this time it’s a revolver, the ME 38 Magnum. We at all4shooters put the blank-firing gun through its paces to find out just how good it is.

On November 8th, 2018 the German auction house Hermann Historica in Munich will be auctioning an extraordinary collection of service pistols and revolvers. Here is a preview of what's available at the auction.

The new special edition revolver features a beautiful leaf engraving over a subdued brush finish and rosewood grips. Like all the K6s family, it's chambered in .357 Magnum.

After some 20 years, the Model 19 will be available again as a catalog item, in two versions: a “Classic” and a “Performance Center” version with vented barrel. Both versions are available in .357 Magnum and .38 S&W Special +P.

The new model adds to the relatively few revolvers in this caliber. With a 4.20-in barrel, factory-tuned action, ergonomic enhancements, polished and optimized internals, it offers competition-level accuracy.  

The Hamburg-based company produces high-end, customizable revolvers in calibers ranging from .22LR to .454 Casull in fixed barrel lengths as well as with a Quick Change System. In 2018 Janz is also introducing a 9 mm pistol.

The historical firearm, a Smith & Wesson .44 Hand Ejector 1st Model revolver, was taken by Colonel TE Lawrence from a captured Turkish officer. Now it has been donated to the Museum.

The new model is available in 2.50" (63 mm), 4.20" (106 mm) and 6" (152 mm) barrel lengths and it sports adjustable rear sights and fiber optic front sights. Rubber grips are one-piece with hardwood inserts. 

The new revolver shares the same technical features of the Super Redhawk family: a six-shot, stainless steel, triple-lock revolver. It sports patented integral mounts that are machined directly on the barrel rib. The powerful 10mm cartridge can be used for hunting too.

An interesting addition to the vast and popular wheelgun family produced since 1989 by Sturm, Ruger & Co., the new 9mm revolver has a 2.25” barrel and holds 5 rounds. It’s stainless steel with the usual satin finish.

Chambered in .22 WMR (with two barrel length options), .327 Federal Magnum and 9mm Luger, the new models share the same characteristics of the LCRx family, with a monolithic frame that reduces weight.

With its extra-long 12” barrel, the Chiappa Firearms replica of a legendary revolver is a good choice for plinking and practicing with inexpensive rimfire ammunition.
