01/17/2014 - SHOT Show 2014 / New from Midland: XCT400, new camera to capture images during an hunting day
At the 2014 SHOT Show Midland introduces the new camera XCT400. This new product could be a good accessory to capture images during an hunting day. With special adapters, the Midland XCT400 can to be installed on own shotgun or rifle: this way the hunter record each moment and shot from his prospective.
The Midland XCT400 has Wi-Fi control, one buttom REC easy to access with a simple click. The lens angle are variable 170°, to allows to the hunter to capture images in different positions.
The most important feature is resolution Hi 1920x1080 (30/25fps), Mid: 1280x720 (60/50fps) and- Low: 848x480 (120/100fps), that makes of Midalnd XCT400 a valid firend of hunt, installed on the shotgun or rifle.
Other technical specification is the presence of the SD Card, with capacity up to 32Gb, a battery LI-Ion 1700mAh (up to 5 hours), dimension HxLxP: 52 x 95 x 35mm, a negligible weight of 140gr and the capacity to support these operating System: Win XP, SP2, Vista & 7, Mac OSX 10.4+.
The Midland XTC400 can connected to iPad to see in real-time what it is recording. The hunters can installed this camera on the gilet of their dogs to immortalize the images that it see.
