Stribog SP45 and SP10, stocked pistols make their mark in .45 ACP and 10mm Auto

From a strictly technical point of view, the Stribog, manufactured by the Slovak company Grand Power, is a semi-automatic pistol (it can't fire full auto) with a folding stock. Up to now, this gun, now in its third generation, was available in .380 ACP, 9mm Luger and .22 Long Rifle, but at the American trade fair it was also presented in .45 ACP and 10mm Auto, with the designations SP45 and SP10 respectively.

The Grand Power Stribog SP10 is chambered for the 10mm Auto. The barrel is 20 cm long and  ends in a thread that allows for the mounting of muzzle brakes and compensators.

Stribog pistols are named after the Slavic god of wind, sky and air, and are very rugged and reliable guns that use a refined delayed blowback system, which allows even the 10mm recoil to be controlled with ease. The gun is fed from a durable polymer magazine.

Both the SP45 and SP10 offer a high degree of modularity, thanks to the Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o'clock and the M-Lok interfaces at 3 and 9 o'clock, which allow a wide range of accessories to be installed, including red dot sights, mechanical sights, lasers, and accessory lights (where permitted and legal). A set of backup flip-up sights is factory installed. The polymer stock can be folded sideways and is lockable in both positions. A telescoping stock and an adapter for AR-type stocks are available on request. With the stock folded, the Stribog SP45/SP10 is 450 mm long, which becomes 720 mm when extended. The weight is approximately 2,500 grams. It is fed from double-stack magazines, maximum capacity depending on the laws of the countries where the gun will be marketed.

The light, crisp trigger and the 8-inch (20 cm) long rifled barrel make the Stribog extremely accurate over long distances, even in the large-caliber versions. The muzzle brake is available separately. All controls of the Stribog SP45 and SP10 are fully ambidextrous and the side charging handle can be swapped from one side to the other without the need for any tools. For the time being, the official price of the Stribog SP45 and SP10 has not yet been determined. To find out how much it will cost in Europe we will probably have to wait for the IWA OutdoorClassics 2025 in Nuremberg.
