The glittering desert metropolis is also home to the successful arms exhibition on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. Admission to the SHOT Show is restricted to the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade and to commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement, and tactical products and services only.

Target group of the SHOT Show

Because the SHOT Show is a trade show, which is only approved for a certain group of people, the organizer (National Shooting Sport Foundation NSSF) also has a precise target group in mind. These are firearms retailers, hunting and shooting sports retailers and distributors, shooting ranges and outfitters.

The SHOT Show is not only for the civilian sector, but also for the law enforcement and armed forces. Thus, large target groups are law enforcement agency department purchasers, international law enforcement equipment retailers, government agencies and military members with purchasing influence. In addition to the industry professionals, numerous journalists are also at the SHOT Show. In 2018 over 2,500 media people from all over the world are expected.

SHOT Show Industry Day at the Range

The Industry Day at the Range will take place for the 13th time before the official launch of the SHOT Show. In this pre-SHOT-Show event, invited media members and invited buyers, dealers, distributors and retailers have the opportunity to test and evaluate the latest products. More than 200 manufacturers show their product innovations in advance on the shooting range to leave a lasting impression.

The 2,000 invited guests can not only take a hand on the new weapons, but actually also try and shoot them. The 13th Annual SHOT Show Industry Day at the Range is held on January 22, 2018 at the range of the Boulder Rifle & Pistol Club in Boulder City.

The team of all4shooters.com was also invited to the Industry Day and was able to test live on site the latest weapons and other new products before the SHOT show.
