IWA 2025 – Preview Part 4: Why a visit to the trade fair is still worthwhile for trade visitors

Our short IWA preview series is coming to an end: IWA OutdoorClassics 2025 opens its doors to trade visitors from 27 February to 2 March. We've already talked a lot about exhibitors, organisation and expectations. So it's time to summarise the event once again. In doing so, it is important for us to emphasise three aspects that we believe can be decisive when considering whether a visit to the trade fair, which is reserved for designated trade visitors, is worthwhile.

National and international associations also use IWA 2025 as a contact platform for trade visitors and exhibitors

Some associations also use the IWA as a contact platform. For example, the WSFA holds its annual general assembly there.

We have already mentioned the internationality of the IWA in detail. It is also worth mentioning that the IWA attracts the who's who of the industry. On the exhibitor side, important CEOs often deliberately plan to visit the IWA. On the association side, the trade fair benefits from many supporting events, such as the plenary session of the World Forum on the Future of Sport Shooting Activities (WFSA), one of the few NGOs recognised by the Economic and Social Council of the UN General Assembly, which has already been heard by one of the five committees of the United Nations when it comes to small arms, which includes most hunting, sporting and collector's guns. The quality of contacts at this trade fair is therefore very high overall, which naturally makes a visit to the IWA lucrative.

The entire production chain is represented in one place at the IWA

IWA is also exciting for retailers because the entire production chain and product range can be found there. In other words, retailers can choose from a large number of renowned manufacturers that have the greatest potential for them. This makes the IWA very transparent and efficient for the trade.

At IWA 2025, it will be possible to make direct contact with some manufacturers who are otherwise only represented by wholesalers.

Some manufacturers and suppliers can only be approached directly by specialist retailers at IWA OutdoorClassics

The IWA actually also enjoys the exclusivity of some brands that are otherwise not represented on the German or European market. These include some Turkish, Asian and Central/Eastern European manufacturers as well as brands such as parts of the Colt CZ Group. This clearly shows the potential that is not only offered to German specialist dealers here. If you want to speak directly with such a manufacturer and not just with one of their importers or distributors, the IWA offers a very good opportunity to do so.

Why you shouldn't miss IWA 2025 and how you can find out more from a distance

IWA OutdoorClassics is more than just a trade fair – it is an unmissable event for everyone involved in the hunting, shooting and outdoor industries. The high quality of contacts, the comprehensive presentation of the entire production chain and the exclusivity of some exhibitors make the IWA a unique experience. In our opinion, a visit to the event is definitely worthwhile, whether for the trade, the industry or for enthusiasts with the appropriate access requirements who are particularly interested in the latest developments in these exciting areas.

As there are also many such enthusiasts among you who are unable to attend the trade fair in Nuremberg, we will once again be live on site at IWA OutdoorClassics 2025 for you and all other all4shooters/all4hunters.com users interested in innovations and trends from the hunting and shooting sports sectors and will be reporting on a daily basis.
