IWA 2018 / New from Protect Hunt. Designed and made in France, the C10 kit allows to supervise and control any hunting party. The system warns with a strong vibration if anybody is pointing the gun in the direction of other hunters equipped with the device. P10 is the individual version: if the gun is pointed outside the “safe” authorized area, the shooter will be instantly alerted.

IWA 2018 / New from KAHLES: the K525i 5-25x56i riflescope. The Austrian riflescope pioneer company presented itself in the new corporate design at the trade fair. But the manufacturer also showed a novelty. The K525i is the new flagship in the field of tactical riflescopes from KAHLES.

IWA 2018 / Optics manufacturer KAHLES presents itself with a new face. The company redesigned its brand and now comes with a sporty and dynamic design. At the IWA trade fair, the traditional manufacturer showcased its new optics for hunters and sport shooters.

Enforce Tac 2018 / New from Steiner: M7Xi IFS. The new German-made military riflescope has been showcased for the first time at the Nuremberg fair. Designed for long range sniping, it features a built-in ballistic calculator and sensor suite that determines the bullet point of impact in real time. 

Once again, the US is shaken by a mass shooting and the debate about gun control is raging on. Yet, the system failed not because we need stricter gun laws, but because existing laws were not applied and red flags ignored. 

The historical firearm, a Smith & Wesson .44 Hand Ejector 1st Model revolver, was taken by Colonel TE Lawrence from a captured Turkish officer. Now it has been donated to the Museum.

Armanda Couto moved to Scotland from Portugal ten years ago, and was introduced to hunting and shooting by her husband, Sergio. She started with airguns, and enjoyed target shooting, then began using shotguns and progressed onto rifles. She shot her first roe doe in 2014, followed by two bucks on the same outing in 2017. 

Browning announces on its website that the HP is “technically out of production” and general availability to dealers ended in 2017. The design is still produced by other manufacturers, anyway.
