EU already banned lead shot in wetlands. Now they want to restrict the placing on the market and use of lead in ammunition – not just gunshots, but also bullets – “in terrains other than wetlands” by 2023. At the request of the European Commission, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has already submitted a proposal to that end
