Hunting rifle manufacturer Sauer & Sohn starts the year with a bang in the field of bolt-action rifles: the new Sauer 505 has been presented in three versions. Ergonomic design, elegance and dynamics, a manual cocking system  – the beautiful rifle is not only visually impressive, it is also technically top-notch! 

“As it was issued during the Second World War”: based on the Remington Rand pistols manufactured between 1943 and 1945, Tisas offers a “museum-grade” replica of the 1911A1 featuring all the details of the original service gun.

“Designed by hunters, built for hunters, and ready for your biggest adventure”: at the SHOT Show 2024 Taurus unveiled the Expedition, a bolt-action rifle platform based around the Remington 700 action. Featuring a 18” stainless steel  barrel and a polymer stock, for the moment it is available only in one version, chambered in .308 Winchester. 

A high-quality lockable frame lock knife with a price tag below $500 (around 460 euros): the Chinese company We Knife introduces the Hyperactive. The new knife is available in several finishes and boasts a Vanax steel blade and a Titanium handle with carbon fiber inlays.

More and more manufacturers are using Europe's largest hunting trade fair in Dortmund, Germany, to show the latest products directly to end customers – including Steiner Optik from Bayreuth. This year there is an interesting range of new products, which we will briefly present to you here.

SHOT Show 2024: Trijicon is presenting two premium riflescopes and two red dot sights in Las Vegas. The Credo 1-10x28 and HX 1-10x28 are two typical LPVOs (Low Power Variable Optic scopes), while the Tenmile 5-25x50 is a high-performance hunting optic. In addition, there are the new RMR HD and RCR red dot sights with open and enclosed housings, respectively – and here are all the important data.

Chambered in .45 ACP, the new 1911 models are offered in Classic, Rail or Carry Contour versions with different barrel lengths, forged steel of aluminum frame and different Cerakote finishes. Features and construction place them in the semi-custom category.

A long day for trade visitors at the SHOT Show. After the exhibition halls in the Venetian Hotel Centre and the Caesar Forum close in the evening, there are usually numerous meetings, business lunches and entertainment to follow, of which Las Vegas has plenty to offer. SHOT Show 2024: the KelTec SUB2000 GEN3, the third generation of the 9mm SUB2000 pistol caliber carbine that literally folds in half with a single twist-and-fold motion, is just 410 mm long when folded and is compatible with Glock magazines.
