SIG Sauer adds the 716i TREAD in .308 WIN to the TREAD rifle series

Many were waiting for it, and here it is: a direct impingement AR-10 platform adds to the SIG Sauer TREAD rifle series. The new 716i TREAD is chambered in .308 WIN and joins the 5.56mm version introduced a couple of years ago, the M400 TREAD, and its pistol version, the 5.56mm M400 TREAD Pistol. Just like its siblings, the 716i TREAD  is easily customizable with existing TREAD branded accessories and is designed for long range shooting and hunting while maintaining a lightweight design.

The SIG Sauer 716i TREAD features a lightweight forged aluminum receiver, a precision nitride coated finish and is optics ready. A carbon steel barrel, ambidextrous controls, a free floating M-LOK handguard, a two-stage Matchlite Duo Trigger, and a Magpul SL-K six-position adjustable stock complete the equipment. The rifle comes with one 20-round magazine. In the US The SIG Sauer 716i TREAD is currently shipping and available for purchase.
