2026 is a unique and special year for the world of firearms, because it marks on the clock of history the first five hundred years of the Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta, whose oldest written record dates back to 1526. Beretta is the oldest arms company in the world still run by the same family, now in its fifteenth generation. In five centuries of activity, the Gardone Val Trompia-based company has spanned epochs, technological innovations and international markets, becoming a global benchmark in the hunting, sport shooting, defense and law enforcement sectors. Manufacturing tradition, continuous innovation and Italian gunmaking culture still represent the heart of the Beretta identity today.
To celebrate this extraordinary milestone, Beretta had announced some time ago that it would present a range of commemorative products, in limited editions or even one-offs. Here comes the first of these products: it is called Titan and is based on the NARP (New Assault Rifle Platform) project, in a version in which technical research and aesthetic refinement create a unique and exclusive firearm.
Beretta Titan: an evolved platform in 6.5 Grendel

"The Beretta Titan is born to be a natural extension of the user," said Carlo Ferlito, CEO & General Manager of Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta S.p.A. "For the first time, Beretta conceives a product that combines state-of-the-art materials like magnesium, and carbon fiber, in a synthesis of performance, elegance and manufacturing excellence.”
The Beretta Titan rifle is chambered in 6.5 Grendel, a currently popular caliber, chosen for its increased range and excellent ballistic performance. The operating system adopts an adjustable short-stroke piston system, combined with an advanced two-stage trigger.
The project introduces new features for Beretta:
- Titanium upper receiver
- Magnesium lower receiver
- Carbon-fiber stock and forend
- Forged-carbon pistol grip
This combination of materials was developed to reduce the overall weight of the rifle while maintaining high levels of stiffness and strength.
According to Andrea Pasini, Platform Manager for Military Medium & Long Range firearms, the introduction of new materials and the new caliber required a complete redesign of the platform, supported by advanced simulations and extreme tests for durability and durability.

Beretta Titan: 500th anniversary details

Titan incorporates several commemorative references linked to Beretta's history. In fact, the grey camo pattern applied to the receiver subtly incorporates the date "1526", handwritten by Bartolomeo Beretta in the historical document that marks the origin of the company more than five centuries ago. A dedicated Beretta 500 Years logo insert is embedded in the forged carbon pistol grip, while a discreet detail at the front of the Picatinny rail pays tribute to the first spark ignited in Bartolomeo’s forge. The rifle is paired with a Steiner M7X1 optic with MPX red dot as a backup, delivering tailored viewing experience enhanced by an embedded Beretta 500 Years logo integrated directly into the visual interface, visible through the lens.
An exclusive carbon-fiber case

Completing the design is a dedicated case with a genuine carbon-fiber shell and Alcantara interior. The French-fitted layout keeps every component perfectly secured, while integrated wheels and a telescopic handle facilitate transportation.
"The Titan is not merely a rifle: it is a statement," concluded Riccardo Perotti, Law Enforcement & Defense Firearms Manager. "A fusion of tactical performance and ceremonial elegance, this firearm bridges the sporting tactical needs and the collector’s cabinet with seamless grace."
For the time being, the public price of this unique piece is covered by the utmost secrecy, but since it is a one-off, unrepeatable specimen, it is perhaps the least important detail.
