Selected Walnut, Exclusive Engraving and Proven Mechanics
The 687 Silver Pigeon 500 Years Limited Edition immediately stands out thanks to its dedicated serial number, a Grade 3 walnut stock and fore-end carefully selected for figure and grain, hand-finished side panels, and the platform's traditional floral engraving enhanced with gold accents, including the official Beretta 500th Anniversary logo on the action body. The result is an elegant shotgun that preserves the renowned strength and reliability of the 680 platform.
Mechanically, the shotgun features Beretta's proven locking system with trapezoidal locking shoulders and dual conical locking pins, a design that has long contributed to the exceptional durability of the company's over/under shotguns. The Steelium barrels, incorporating an 80 mm (3.15") extended forcing cone, deliver outstanding ballistic performance, while Optimachoke HP interchangeable choke tubes are rated for steel shot, providing excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. The Field model features a 6×6 mm top rib with solid side ribs, a nickel-silver front bead, and flush-fitting interchangeable choke tubes. The Sporting version is equipped with a wider 10×8 mm top rib, ventilated side ribs, a white front bead with a mid-bead, and extended interchangeable choke tubes.
Both models share a rounded fore-end, a stock drop of 35/55 mm, and are available with 67, 71, or 76 cm (26.5", 28", or 30") barrels, allowing shooters to select the configuration best suited to their preferred discipline or hunting application.
