Known for their legendary 1911-based .357 Magnum pistols, the Coonan Inc. company introduces a new class of 1911 pistols chambered in .45 ACP; Coonan raised the standards for 1911s with the Classic .357 Magnum Automatic handguns, and are now applying Coonan difference improvements to a brand new .45 ACP.
Coonan's .45 ACP pistol features a linkless barrel, increasing accuracy and reducing feeding issues; an external extractor, improving the reliability of cycling and ejection; and the pivoting trigger, delivering a more consistent trigger pull. Other features include a 7-rounds magazine, a full stainless steel finish, smooth walnut grips or synthetic grips, and Novak-style sights.
