Pulsar introduces a record number of new optronics in 2022

Pulsar needs no introduction, and while in our IWA 2022 trade show coverage we showcased the most exciting and brand new products from this very prolific European optics manufacturer – the Merger LRF XP50 thermal imaging binoculars, the Talion thermal imaging riflescope and Axion 2 observation monocular both in the XG series, there is much more.

The new Pulsar Merger LRF XP50 follows the trend of using classical, time proven and refined ergonomics of a traditional daytime optics with the performance and functionality of a thermal imaging electro optic.

The Axion line also welcomes its second generation, the Axion 2 with two new models - the Axion 2 XQ35 and the Axion 2 LRF XQ352, presented earlier at SHOT Show in Las Vegas, and the further extension of the Axion line, the XG series.

The Axion 2 XG35 and the Axion 2 LRF XG35 feature a high resolution 640x480 pixels @ 12 µm European-made Lynred thermal imaging sensor – and much more. The improved quality and performance of the XG comes at a better price, too.

The innovative XG line also includes the Talion XG35, which will be available in Europe, featuring a high sensitivity 640x480 pixel @ 12 µm European-made Lynred sensor with NETD <40mK. The lightweight and compact thermal imaging scope comes with conveniently placed controls, replaceable battery pack and advanced functionality, just like the Talion XQ38, which was introduced at SHOT Show 2022.

Additionally, Pulsar expands its flagship line of the Thermion thermal imaging riflescopes. The Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro with integrated laser range finder was introduced at SHOT just a couple months ago.

Today, the same optic with improved performance, new image processing algorithms, extended operating time (up to 10 hours of operation on a single battery charge) and a high sensitivity 640x480 pixel European-made Lynred sensor with NETD <25mK is introduced without the laser range finder. Plus, three more models are added to the popular XQ line: the Thermion 2 XQ35 Pro, the Thermion 2 XQ50 Pro and the Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 Pro. All feature an affordable 384x288 pixel Lynred sensor with NETD <25mK. Last but not least, the Thermion 2 LRF XG50, with a high sensitivity 640x480 pixel @ 12 µm Lynred thermal imaging sensor, and as the name suggests, a seamlessly integrated compact laser rangefinder. All these products will be available in 2022.
