The collaboration between Arex and Waimex is bearing its first exclusive fruits: at the IWA OutdoorClassics 2024, the Slovenian gun manufacturer Arex and its German sales partner Waimex will be presenting their new product, the Alpha Wforce1 pistol. Arex, primarily known for its Rex Zero 1 pistol models and the Delta Gen. 2 series, recently awarded the German distribution of its products to Waimex GmbH from Fürth.
Arex presents the Alpha Wforce1 all-steel pistol at the IWA 2024
The Alpha Wforce1 is designed as an all-steel pistol in 9mm Luger for the large-caliber sports sector. With its modern design and matte stainless steel look, the pistol also stands out visually from other models on the market: jaggedly cut serrations on the rear and front of the slide give the gun a futuristic, almost aggressive character. This is also emphasised by the eye-catching Wforce1 logo on the black grips.
The high quality of workmanship and the impeccable fit of its components are further features that Arex and Waimex are proud of: technical innovations from Arex in the Wforce1 include a single-action trigger and all-black sights that emphasise the pistol's sporting orientation. A special feature of the Wforce1 is the option to remove the rear sight for the use of red dot sights, which underlines the versatility of the pistol in various large-caliber pistol disciplines. The first impression is convincing. The gun literally impresses with its design and very good technical realisation. The slide runs like butter. For the safety of the user, the Arex Alpha Wforce1 pistol has a manual thumb safety for cocked and secured firing as well as a passive firing pin safety. Operation is also designed to be suitable for both right- and left-handed users, which is made possible by an enlarged magazine release button. The pistol is supplied with 20-round magazines as standard, which have an extended magazine base. A separate magwell was deliberately omitted in order to save weight. This would also make the use of flush 18-round magazines from the Arex Zero models conceivable. The Arex Alpha Wforce1 can be reloaded quickly and easily via the large magazine well anyway.
The presentation of the Alpha Wforce1 at the IWA 2024 underlines Arex's position as a large, technically skilled manufacturer of innovative and high-quality firearms.
