Noblex is known for its optics for hunters and sport shooters, but the Eisfeld-based (Thuringia, Germany) company also regularly organizes events related to shooting sports and hunting. In August 2023, the time has come again: together with one of the leading providers of shooting instruction in the United Kingdom, WMS Firearms, a Long Range Event will take place in the rolling landscapes of Wales between August 20 and 23, 2023.
The Noblex E-Optics Long-Range Event 2023 with WMS Firearms
The course in Wales will be led by WMS Firearms. The company is a renowned provider of firearms training in the UK and has trained clients from all over the world. Under the expert guidance of experienced shooting instructors, you will have the opportunity to hone your skills and techniques. All the skills essential for safe and accurate shooting will be practiced. The ranges shot at can gradually increase, from 200 meters and going up to the full 1,000 meters.

The three-day event will take place from August 20-23, 2023 and according to the organizer, is expected to be not just an exciting experience for all participants, but also a challenging one.
The 2023 Long Range Event in Wales will begin on Sunday, August 20, with travel to the venue. Participants can fly to Birmingham, for example, and then use the transfer to the Talbot Hotel in Tregaron. The first day of training will then begin on Monday, August 21. Here, participants will have the opportunity to test and improve their shooting skills at ranges of 200 m, 400 m, 800 m and up to 1,000 m. In the process, everyone should have enough time to ask the professionals from WMS Firearms individual questions and work on themselves. The program continues on Tuesday, August 22, with another day of free shooting at various distances. This gives shooters a chance to put into practice what they learned the day before and further hone their skills. After three days, the event will end on Wednesday, August 23.
Shoot at up to 1,000 meters in Wales – Price and participation: Noblex Long Range Event
The price for participation in the three-day event is 1,750 euros. This includes:
- Three nights at the Talbot Hotel. Dinner, breakfast and packed lunch are included. Accommodation is in deluxe rooms with single occupancy.
- Two days of shooting training at WMS Firearms with instructor Andrew Venables.
- Use of rental rifles with 100 rounds .22 LR., 20 rounds .223 Remington and 40 rounds .308 Winchester (or similar) per day.
Travel to and from the event is not included in the price. However, Noblex can assist with this if required. You can also bring your own firearms. However, organizer Noblex E-Optics points out that the transfer regulations for firearms in the United Kingdom are very complex.
The event takes place with a minimum of four participants. The maximum number of participants is limited to six.
