No, it's not some new kind of dangerous weapon of mass-destruction: Impressum Media, publisher of the Firearms Guide series of guns & ammo reference and value guides, just introduced their new 9th Edition. Advertised as the “World's Largest Gun Guide on your Keychain”, it is in fact published on a 16GB USB flash drive as a flash drive and online combo. That's because after years of development, this new 9th Edition of Firearms Guide grew so much that it became too big for a double-layer DVD (max 7.4GB).
Firearms Guide: for professionals and enthusiasts
The 9th Edition is available on line at www.FirearmsGuide.com. With 73,000 guns and ammo, 1,110 manufacturers from 52 countries and 8,000 printable schematics including parts lists and blueprints for professional gunsmiths, it is indeed the world largest researchable guns and ammo reference guide. Guns are cross-referenced with the ammunition database. Guns and ammo are presented with prices, tech-specifications, features, ballistic and up to 12 high-resolution zoomable color pictures (up to 4000 x 1240). The Guide also provides gun values for modern and antique guns (based off of the 100% - 30% condition ratings) for professionals in the gun trade and for gun collectors.
Furthermore, it combines up to 14 search criteria (caliber, year, price, action, country, stock, etc.) so that you can perform simple or complex searches getting instant search results.
