Pescare Show 2018, a renewed and extended format

Pescare Show, the international show for sports fishing and recreational sailing organized by Italian Exhibition Group, is preparing for its coming 2018 edition with a renewed and extended exhibition offer. Scheduled to take place from 24th to 26th February at the Vicenza Expo Centre, the Show will present the most innovative proposals from the market's top brands, an infinite number of demo areas and interesting informative and confrontation moments. 

Pescare Show is the absolute reference point for a sector that, in Italy alone, counts 1,650,000 anglers, the vast majority aged between 25 and 54, as well as 150 companies dealing in sports fishing equipment and 1,481 specialized stores throughout the national territory with an overall estimated revenue of 420 million Euros.

Pescare Show: everything for fishermen 

A show that is rapidly growing for a sector in constant development. The next Pescare Show event  follows in the wake of a 2017 edition that welcomed 15,000 visitors, +14.5% compared to 2016. This growth trend also regarded the number of exhibitors, which reached 209, an increase of almost 16% compared to the 180 of the previous year and more than double if compared to 2011. The involvement of leading category associations, sports federations and fishing schools also contributed to achieving these positive results.  

Pescare Show: top Italian and international sports fishing production brands

Pescare Show 2018 will provide a renewed itinerary due to a new arrangement of the various merchandise  on offer. Hall 7 will welcome visitors, guiding them on a discovery of the best that top Italian and international sports fishing production has to offer around the world, with exhibitors and buyers from countries such as Austria, Germany, Holland, Russia, Serbia and Slovenia. The area will be exhibiting the latest cutting edge equipment, components for assembling finished products, accessories and technical clothing, which can be tried and tested immediately at the numerous demo areas.

These include the scenographic Acquademo area, the largest mobile aquarium in Europe, a structure holding 22,400 litres of water which will provide the setting for a great many demonstrations, seminars and innovative product presentations. Many angling tourism companies will also be attending providing visitors with an overview of the world's most spectacular fishing lodges.

With its full programme of events, PESCARE SHOW is able to attract enthusiasts of all ages and of all sports techniques and specialities, from spinning to fly fishing and match fishing, from carp fishing to deep sea fishing  and even surf casting and big game. In particular, Hall 6 will be entirely dedicated to the Fly Fishing World where the very best artificial fly producers in the world will be exhibiting and, for the third year running, giving live demonstrations at the “Pescare Show Fly Tying Experience”.

The event will also offer an overview of the best in recreational sailing with the fourth edition of the Boating Show dedicated to quality products in terms of boats, engines and the relative components for open-sea sports fishing and particularly popular with the public.  As of 2018, this show will be staged in Hall 1 to highlight the importance that the organizers want to give to this "Made in Italy" sector which is gaining increasing attention from enthusiasts.
