Brand new: Zeiss DTI 3/35 – The first thermal imaging camera from Zeiss

Zeiss DTI 3/35: slim and ergonomical design.

The Zeiss DTI 3/35 thermal imaging camera combines a high-resolution display with a balanced, ergonomic design. "The combination of high-contrast images in the dark with intuitive and ergonomic operation makes Zeiss thermal imaging technology the perfect companion for night hunting," says Tammo Lüken, head of product management for nature observation and hunting at Zeiss. "We thus enable hunters to act safely even in poor light conditions, so that hunting at night is a unique experience".

This means a safe hunting success – even in the dark. Especially in times of ASF and the demand for a more intensive hunting of wild boars, it's a good innovation.

Zeiss arranged the control buttons of the DTI 3/35 according to the "ErgoControl" concept.

Zeiss DTI 3/35: everything in your hand

The Zeiss DTI 3/35 allows intuitive operation thanks to the arrangement of the control buttons optimised with the "ErgoControl" concept and its specific design. The operating elements are arranged in such a way that they can be quickly and accurately detected – even in darkness and cold weather with gloves on. The precise zoom is designed for the sometimes difficult conditions in the dark. With its fine, step-by-step adjustment in 0.5 mm increments, the zoom provides the perfect combination of magnification and detail recognition. Thus, the thermal imaging device allows for a quick change between the zoom factors. But the device is not only suitable for rifle hunting, but also for wildlife observation. Using the Zeiss Hunting App, data, photos and videos can be transferred and shared from the thermal imaging camera to a smartphone via cable or WLAN, and hunting experiences can be followed in a live stream. In this way, sightings can be precisely documented and also saved.

The large front lens of the Zeiss DTI 3/35 helps to capture the most beautiful hunting moments even after sunset.

Zeiss DTI 3/35: experts for night hunting

The specialist for difficult light conditions: "We know that the most attractive hunting moments often occur after sunset and that you experience particularly intensive encounters with nature during night hunting," explains Lüken, referring to his decades of expertise in hunting in the dark and at night. "From this expertise, it was a logical step for us to develop new, digital solutions and thus also the thermal imaging camera," Lüken continues. The newly developed DTI 3/35 thermal imaging camera from Zeiss sees details that remain hidden from the human eye. Hunting at night will not only be even more fascinating, but also more successful and safer. The Zeiss DTI 3/35 will be available for the coming hunting season and will be available from specialist dealers from autumn 2020.
