Probably the greatest innovation on the NL Pure from Swarovski is the particularly wide field of view: it is up to 71° on the 12x42 model. This corresponds to 113 m at 1000 m. With the 10x42 m you can reach a field of 133 m at 1000, and 159 m with 8x42. A pleasant side effect of these huge fields of view is that the edges are supposed to be barely perceptible. According to Swarovski, the observer should be able to concentrate better on the observation and virtually dive into the picture.
Wasp waist and forehead rest: a new design concept for the NL Pure
The new design concept of the NL Pure series from Swarovski includes not only compactness but also a striking “wasp waist”. This creates a recess between thumb and index finger that should correspond to the natural grip of the hand and make observation through the glasses less tiring.
The separately available forehead rest also contributes to this. This is attached to the NL Pure and not only ensures that the binoculars are used for longer periods of time, but also steadies the image. This may be necessary especially with the 12x magnification model.

Innovative lens coating - SWAROVISION
According to Swarovski, the SWAROVISION lens coating is intended to allow you “to experience every moment in razor-sharp detail” with a high-contrast, true-color image. This should enable the user, especially with the high-magnification models, to "identify every single detail” effortlessly and distinguish the finest color nuances in the original tone.
Swarovski Optik NL Pure – Availability and prices
The binoculars of the NL Pure series will be available from September 1st, 2020. They can be obtained from selected specialist retailers or from the Swarovski shop. The 8x42 will change hands for €2850, the 10x42 for €2900 and the 12x42 for €2950.
