SIG Sauer introduces the Canyon Rangefinder Binocular and Canyon HD Binocular

SIG Sauer Canyon Rangefinder Binocular

Let's start with the more sophisticated and feature-rich 10x42 mm Canyon Rangefinding Binocular.

The rugged rubber armor with eyecup and diopter adjustment of the Canyon Rangefinding Binocular improve comfort and ease-of use.

Designed for hunters and shooters alike, the Canyon Rangefinding Binocular uses the revolutionary Lightwave DSP technology, providing “lightning-quick data out to 4,000 yards (3657,6 m) on reflective surfaces and 1,500 yards (1,371.6 m) on non-reflective targets like deer and elk”. Scan mode ranges and updates four times per second, and RangeLock reports the closes, furthest, or most recent range result (ranges are displayed in either yards or meters to one-tenth y/m resolution).

The SIG Sauer Canyon Rangefinding Binocular provides shooting solutions in either MRAD or MOA..Ranging modes include Line of Sight, Angle Modified Range, Ballistic Groups, and Archery Mode.

Ranging modes include: Line of Sight, Angle Modified Range, Ballistic Groups, and Archery Mode. There are eight onboard ballistic groups to provide shooting solutions in either MRAD or MOA, as well as SIG’s proprietary Archery Mode.

To make things even easier on the field (or on the range), you will also find a bright red OLED illuminated display and SpectraCoat anti-reflective lens coatings for superior light transmission and optical clarity.

Ergonomically speaking, the rugged rubber armor with eyecup and diopter adjustment make the binoculars a pleasure to use. On top of that, at just 29 oz/822 g the Canyon Rangefinding Binocular is quite lightweight too.

With a closed bridge design with updated rubber armor, enhanced rubber over-mold focus dial, and rated for IPX7 waterproof and fog-proof performance, the newest 10x42 Canyon HD roof prism binoculars are part of SIG Sauer's expansive line of rugged hunting optics. They feature fully multi-coated HD glass lenses for a bright, high-definition image even in low light conditions. To ensure comfort and reduce eyestrain, the 3-position adjustable eyecups allow for fine-tuning. Moreover, the standard 1/4x20” threaded insert offers the ability to mount your optic on a tripod or window mount for increased stability.

What about prices? The SIG Sauer Canyon Rangefinder Binocular comes at $809.99, while the Canyon HD Binocular is priced at just $259.99 ( (MSRPs in the U.S.). Quite frankly, you can't expect to pay less for such quality optics.
