Tippmann M4-22 Redline series: semi-automatic rimfire rifles with eye-catching design and full equipment

US manufacturer Tippmann Arms has made a worldwide reputation as a producer of paintball markers since 1986. For several years, however, the company from Fort Wayne, Indiana, has primarily been manufacturing rimfire rifles in the style of the popular AR-15 models. The guns stand out above all for their exceptionally good workmanship quality. The new Redline series shows that flawless workmanship does not have to be boring and an eye-catching design does not have to be a contradiction in terms.

All of the AR-15-look rimfire semi-autos that Tippmann Arms manufactures (here's an in-house photo) impress with their good build quality.

The Tippmann Arms Redline models glow strikingly red

The two M4-22 Redline models with the code numbers 1106 and 1107 are largely identical in construction – see also the table below. Both were fitted with 16” fluted barrels (twist rate: 1/16”) featuring a striking red Duracoat finish that also makes them impervious to scratches. Tippmann Arms equips them with the popular Game Changer PRO compensators from the Tandemkross tuning store, which is supposed to ensure a stable position in fast firing strings by dissipating excess powder gases. However, the compensator is only supplied loose with the 1107 model – more on that in a moment. The charging handle and the ejection port cover have also been coated in signal red.

The Tippmann Arms M4-22 Redline 1107 model can be used without a compensator. The Game Changer PRO muzzle brake supplied by Tandemkross can be screwed on.

Wrap-up: the Tippmann Redline rifles are fully equipped

Tippmann M4-22 Redline series: muzzle threads
Both Redline models from Tippmann come with Game Changer PRO compensators from tuning supplier Tandemkross. The muzzles have 1/2x28 UNEF muzzle threads.

At 1249 euros (1106 model) and 1299 euros for the 1107 sporting model as the recommended retail price, neither rifle is a bargain, especially since other Tippmann Arms models such as the M4-22 Elite remain below the four-digit euro mark. However, the two Redline semi-autos also come fully equipped, even including red dot sights on raiser mounts so you can safely aim over the flip-up sights (rear sight and front sight can be flipped down). And the special "hiveGrips" from Tandemkross are also available directly from the factory with both Redline versions: non-slip rubber with finger grooves for a safe purchase, and also equipped with a watertight compartment at the bottom for small parts.
