A new saint in gun's heaven: Springfield Armory unveils the Saint Victor 9mm Carbine

Springfield Armory's “Saint” family acquires a new member: the Saint Victor 9mm Carbine. The new PCC (pistol caliber carbine) is designed with “all the performance and capabilities you have come to expect from the SAINT Victor line”, including. a full-length free-floated handguard with ample M-Lok slots to a dedicated 9mm lower receiver: even if it looks identical to 5.56mm Saint models at first sight, the ejection port and cover door have been in fact shortened, there is no forward assist and the brass deflector is more forward-oriented.

Both upper and lower receivers are made of forged 7075 T6 aluminum, type III hardcoat anodized, specifically designed for the 9mm cartridges.

Being specifically made for 9mm magazines, the magwell also eliminates the need for adapters and accepts steel Colt-pattern 32-round magazines. (The gun is shipped with one Springfield Armory double-stack, double-feeding steel magazine.) The carbine locks open when the magazine is empty.

Both upper and lower receivers are made of forged 7075 T6 aluminum, type III hardcoat anodized.

Saint Victor 9mm Carbine, simple and rugged

The compact forward blast diverter maximizes control and reduces muzzle flip.

The Saint Victor 9mm Carbine operates through a direct blowback system, which means that there is no rotating bolt head. The simple, straightforward and reliable operating system is designed specifically for the 9mm cartridge.

The Springfield Armory Saint Victor 9mm Carbine comes with spring loaded flip-up sights as standard.

The B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip is coupled to a six-position adjustable stock. QD mounts are located on either side of the rear of the stock. The Saint Victor 9mm Carbine also features an ambidextrous thumb safety. The Polymer trigger guard is also from B5 Systems, while the trigger itself is a nickel boron coated flat type.

To maximize control and reduce muzzle flip, the carbine sports a compact yet exceedingly capable forward blast diverter, which is recessed under the full-length handguard. Spring loaded flip-up sights are standard. The Melonite coated Chrome Moly Vanadium (CMV) barrel is 16" long, with 1:10 twist.

MSRP in the U.S.A. for the new Springfield Armory Saint Victor 9mm Carbine is $1,299.
