The year 2024 begins under the banner of novelty for British manufacturer Brocock, also known as BRK, which is introducing a new version of its Ghost air rifle, the Silver Ghost.
The Brocock Ghost is a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) gun in a "bullpup" configuration built around a titanium chassis to maximize the rigidity and accuracy of the action. This allows the overall length of the rifle to be reduced even when fitting a standard-length barrel. The standard BRK Ghost is available in three model configurations in 4.5 mm, 5.5 mm, 6.35 mm, 7.62 mm. (i.e., 177, .22, .25, and .30) calibers that in the full-power version offer an energy of up to 95 ft/lb, equal to 128 joules. In addition, thanks to a quick and easy interchangeable barrel system, the BRK Ghost rifle series (where allowed by law) can swap calibers in minutes.
Two versions available: Silver Ghost Plus Airgun in caliber 4.5 and the HP High Power version in caliber .22
The BRK Ghost Silver is offered in two versions, Plus and HP, in .177/4.5 caliber and .22/5.5 mm caliber respectively. The HP (High Power) version of the Silver Ghost in .22/5.5 mm caliber has an output up to 65 ft/lb. Where permitted by local laws, the Brocock Silver Ghost will also be available with the option of a 0-db silver-finished silencer, and other exclusive accessories are planned.
Supplied with a hard case, the new Silver Ghost rifle shares all the main features of the standard Ghost model: fully adjustable trigger, fully shrouded barrel with a ½-inch UNF thread for an additional silencer, cross-bolt manual safety, adjustable Picatinny scope rail and three additional accessory rails. A full range of accessories including butt pads, grips and rails from BRK’s official custom supplier PRS are also available – including a cheekpiece riser which allows the BRK’s magnetic magazine to “double-up” by twinning two units back-to-back, offering an impressive onboard payload, ranging from 22 rounds in 5.5mm (.22) caliber to 26 rounds in .4.5mm (.177) caliber.
The retail price of the Brocock Silver Ghost Plus PCP rifle in .177/4.5 mm is £1,745, or about 2,000 euros. The HP (High Power) model will cost £1,860 (2,179 euros) and will be marketed in .22/5.5 mm caliber.
