From MasterPiece Arms, a chassis rifle designed for the Precision Rifle Series

In PRS matches, long range courses with various shooter positions and multiple targets as well as shooting distances of up to 1,000 yards (914 m) are contested under time pressure. According to the latest "Production Class" rules, a match rifle may cost no more than 2,500 USD.

The rifle featuring an MPA Competition light alloy chassis is available in 5 different calibers.

The Precision Rifle Series – All five models in detail

The new MPA precision rifle in 6mm and 6.5mm Creedmoor, as well as .223 Rem., .308 Win. and 6.5 PRC, offers many competition-related features for that price. The Curtis Short Action with 60 degree bolt throw is coupled to a button-rifled, hand-lapped "X-Caliber" match barrel made from stainless steel, with a 24" or 26" length depending on the caliber. The rifle is based on the MPA Competition light alloy chassis with a versatile adjustable buttstock and a pistol grip and is fed by AICS-type magazines.

Other interesting features: match trigger, V-bedding system in the chassis, long dovetail rail on the underside of the hand guard for additional equipment, built-in inclinometer to avoid canting errors, extended lower mounted chassis rail ideal for bipod mounting (V4 spigot mount), 20 MOA scope rail, RAT-system compatible. RAT stands for "Rapid Adjustment Technology", which means that the shooter can quickly and individually adjust the additional equipment (bipod, tripod, barricade stop, etc.) depending on the shooter's position. A muzzle brake, rotating barricade stop and 2 round holder, data card holder and shooting bag are also standard equipment. The rifle is available in black or grey Cerakote finish. Price in the USA: 2499.99 USD.
