Pistols – actually, ultra-short carbines in pistol caliber – with arm braces are still very popular. MasterPiece Arms (MPA), the US company already known to general public thanks to their MPA BA Rifles and Chassis Systems, now drops a 9mm model, the MPA35DMG, as part of their Defender line. Based on the MPA30DMG, the new 9mm pistol with arm brace includes a fully machined aluminum pistol grip and and a KAK Shockwave 2.0 Arm Brace. It can be utilized in either the folded or non-folded positions – in the folded position, it measures 16,” it measures 23.75”/603 mm at full length (non-folded). The MPA35DMG accepts GLOCK magazines (17 and 33-round magazines only), which is a plus considering how easily and cheaply GLOCK magazines can be found on the market.
Among the other features, a side cocker, scope mount, adjustable front and rear sights, decal grip panels, a lower Picatinny rail for flashlight or laser systems, MPA polymer case, MPA short handguard, Ergo grip hand stop and barrel extension. Since the inner diameter of the handguard is 1.560” and will accept any 9mm suppressor that is 1.550” or smaller.
The MPA35DMG comes in a black Cerakote finish, but for an additional charge of 125 USD Tungsten, Burnt Bronze, Marine Red, NRA Blue, Sniper Green, and Gunmetal Cerakote finishes are also available.
With a 17-round magazine included, the new MPA35DMG pistol with arm brace can be yours at a basic price of 799 USD
