To the standard edition both pistols come equipped with a whole line of high quality features. These include a high-ride beavertail grip safety, extended magazine release, a skeletonized aluminum trigger with trigger stop, stainless steel full-length guide rod, extended thumb safety, enlarged ejection port and a beveled magazine well.
The high curved grip safety allows the shooting hand to be positioned closer to the plane of the bore. This allows better recoil control and avoids muzzle flip during shooting. An attractive matte black finish, the standard delivered double-diamond checkered wood grips and stainless steel hex screws round off the design and extensive features of both 1911 models.
Both models convince in their attractive price/performance ratio but also in their use like extensive tests have already shown on the shooting range.
