CZ SP-01 Competition Red & Blue pistols, the colors of passion

Adding a vibrant touch of color to its match guns, CZ USA introduces the new CZ SP-01 Competition Red & Blue pistols – actually, not two distinct models but the same gun with a choice of red or blue aluminum grips and +4 magazine base pads. 

The CZ SP-01 Competition Red & Blue pistols come with a 4.6” cold hammer-forged barrel and a fiber optic front sight.

Characterized by “match-ready upgrades and race-gun features” and based on its parent model, the SP-01, the pistol includes a competition hammer and exceptionally crisp, light trigger pull with a lightened 13 lb hammer spring. A lighter 11 lb recoil spring also enhances the SP-01 Competition Red & Blue's performance for running target loads.

The slide features front and rear cocking serrations.

The red or blue  custom aluminum grips are eye catchers and very sporty, no doubt. But the new SP-01 Competition Red & Blue pistols are not just appearance, featuring a 4.6”/117 mm cold hammer-forged barrel for enhanced accuracy and performance, a steel guide rod, a fiber optic front sight and serrated rear sight. 

The +4 magazine base pads provide a total ammo capacity of 21+1 rounds.

The slide has front and rear cocking serrations for easier manipulation. Color-matching mag bases add four extra rounds to the SP-01 Competition Red & Blue's capacity, for a total ammo capacity of 21+1 rounds – which means fewer reloads and faster stage times.

Another useful detail, the grips design fits both left- and right-hand shooters, adding to the ambidextrous safety at the rear of the frame directly above the grip. The new pistol also have the indispensable under-barrel rail for the mounting of accessories.

MSRP for he new SP-01 Competition Red & Blue is $1305: two CZ nickel-plated magazines with extended aluminum +4 base pads are included.
