CZ Extreme Euro Open 2026: Top IPSC shooting sport in Hodonice – An overview of the top results
Speed, precision and nerves of steel: the CZ Extreme Euro Open 2026 brought together an international field of IPSC competitors in Hodonice, Czech Republic, at the end of May. 1,097 shooters from 59 countries competed in 30 stages. One of the most outstanding teams was the CZ Shooting Team, which once again had a strong record this year with 13 medals.

The CZ Extreme Euro Open has been a fixture on the international IPSC calendar for years. In 2026, they once again offered a correspondingly strong field of participants: from 24 to 30 May, 1,097 competitors from 59 nations came to the shooting range in Hodonice near Znojmo ,in the Czech Republic. The sporting demands were high, as the program included 30 dynamic and technically challenging stages that demanded a lot from the participants in the various divisions.

Strong results for the CZ Shooting Team at the CZ Extreme Euro Open 2026
The Open was particularly successful for the CZ Shooting Team. The team collected a total of 13 medals, including eight gold, three silver and two bronze.Robin Sebo's victory in the Open Division was one of the team's top results. Miroslav Havlicek finished second behind him. Martina Sera also won the women's competition in this division.
Record-breaking world champion Eric Grauffel on the stage. As expected, the Frenchman won the Optics Division at the CZ Extreme Euro Open 2026.
The team also made its mark in the Optics divisions. Eric Grauffel won the Optics Division, once again emphasizing his position among the international IPSC leaders. In the Production Optics Division, several top places went to CZ team members: Edcel John Gino from the Philippines won the classification, Martin Kamenicek came second. Robin Grauffel also secured victory in the Junior division.
The team also remained present in the Standard Division. Zdenek Liehne won gold and Josef Rakusan took bronze. Rakusan was also successful in the senior category, which he won. Petr Znamenacek completed the tally with second place in the senior category. There were further podium places in the Production Division, where Juan Pablo Duran won bronze. Frantisek Blaha came out on top in the Super Junior category.
The CZ Extreme Euro Open not only provided a major international showdown, but also a foretaste of the season's upcoming challenges. Many IPSC fans are currently looking towards Hungary, where the next major highlight in the calendar for handgun cracks is currently in full swing with the IPSC European Handgun Championship 2026 (30 May to 13 June, 2026). Speaking of highlights on the calendar: the next CZ Extreme Euro Open is currently scheduled to take placefrom 24 to 26 June 2027.
