CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro, the ultra-compact PCC option

The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro, chambered in 9×19 mm caliber, is the latest evolution of the highly successful submachine gun of the same name. Since 2011, when the semi-automatic CZ Scorpion EVO 3 series was introduced, various models have been added, including both longer barrel carbine versions and shorter models: the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro is the end point of the latter trend. In an extremely compact form and minimized size, it maintains comfort, safe handling, high performance and accuracy as much as possible, featuring  a 5.3”/140 mm barrel fitted with a eye-catching spiral three-arm flash hider based on the flash hider fitted on the CZ BREN 2 rifle.

To give a better idea of the gun's compactness, CZ itself points out that on a CZ Shadow 2 pistol the barrel is 120 mm, just 20 mm less. But despite having a much shorter barrel than other CZ Scorpion EVO 3 models, the manufacturer guarantees that the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro is still able to take full advantage of the performance and accuracy provided by the proven 9mm cartridge.

The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro features a distinctive spiral three-arm flash hider based on the flash hider fitted on the CZ BREN 2 rifle. Frame is fiberglass-reinforced polymer.
Barrel is just 5.3”/140 mm long, but the 9mm CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro is still able to provide full performances and accuracy.

CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro is available in two versions. What's the difference?

Two versions of the new CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro are available: one with  a folding/telescopic shoulder stock, and the other seen here featuring an upper receiver extension with a sling loop.

The “selling point” list of the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro is fairly impressive: same ergonomics and control placement as the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1, ambidextrous manual safety, non-reciprocating charging handle, upper receiver and trigger housing made of highly durable fiberglass-reinforced polymer, Picatinny optic mounting interface on the upper receiver, adjustable diopter sight, and duralumin forend with plenty of M-LOK and Picatinny mounting interfaces. The 10-round magazine is also identical to that with CZ SCORPION EVO 3 S1. A hand guard on the lower section of the forend allows a secure and reliable grip.

The ultra-compact Scorpion EVO 3 S2 Micro is available in two versions: one with a folding/telescopic shoulder stock with a QD socket for attaching a quick-release loop, and the other featuring an upper receiver extension with a sling loop.
