On the fringes of the German Jagd & Hund 2025 fair, but behind closed doors, the camera team from all4hunters.com was allowed to see the latest rifle from Beretta, but with the strict proviso that it would not be released until the official premiere of the Beretta BRX1 Compact Ranch Edition at the EOS hunting fair in Verona, Italy. So we are now presenting the latest version of the modern straight-pull bolt action rifle. all4hunters.com has already presented the basic BRX1 model in detail and tested it several times.

The version seen at EOS came with a 46-cm barrel, but an even shorter 41-cm barrel will also be available to order. The barrel diameter for both lengths is 19 mm, the muzzle being threaded for silencers.
The most striking feature, however, is the rugged synthetic stock in Flat Dark Earth color, which has also been covered with a kind of slightly raised spider web, making the scratches and scuffs that are almost unavoidable in tough everyday hunting virtually invisible. The pistol grip has a steeper shape than the basic model, which gives a firmer feeling of pressure on the shoulder, and also has a non-slip nubby layer. The stock length can be adjusted using spacers.

The proven straight-pull system of the BRX1 also forms the centre of the rifle here: the bolt handle can be swapped from the right to the left side, and the Beretta BRX1 Compact Ranch Edition is a fully-fledged rifle for left-handed shooters in terms of both stock and operation. This also includes the 3-position safety at the rear end of the action, within reach of the thumb. The trigger module can be removed and the trigger pull weight can then be set to one of three values: 900, 1,200 or 1,500 grams. A Picatinny rail for mounting a scope or a red dot sight is mounted on top of the action housing.

One major difference to the other versions of the BRX1 is the magazine capacity, which has been doubled from five to ten cartridges. The longer magazine with its striking neon color comes from the Beretta product range. However, the scope of delivery also includes an adapter insert with which the widely used Magpul PMAG SR/LR magazines from the AR-10 world can be used - the BRX1 Compact Ranch Edition generally comes in the popular .308 Winchester caliber.
The recommended retail price of the new all-round rifle is 1,850 euros.
We will provide further photos and information as soon as we have them. Detailed information will also be available on the Beretta website.
