The Izhmash SM-2-KO small-bore rifle, version 08, chambered for the 5.6 mm rim-fire (.22 LR) cartridge, is intended for mastering a skill of the gun handing and for laisure shooting. The SM-2-KO features simple design and low weight. The barrel bore locks on tuning the bolt handle. The rifle is manually reloaded, the cartridges are fedfrom a single-column magazine holds 5 or 10 rounds. The receiver a Picatinny rail to accept an optical or collimating sight.
