EnforceTac 2026 in Nuremberg: All info and innovations from the major trade fair for law enforcement, security agencies and the military – Part 2

IWI Arbel fire control system for ARs and machine guns

Readers of all4shooters.com already know the IWI Arbel computerized weapon system – we presented it a few months ago. At Enforce Tac 2026 we could see it in the flesh. In a nutshell, it's a groundbreaking built-in fire control system that releases the shots according to the operational scenario. The Arbel system is equipped with an electronic trigger and two electronic units that respectively detect and process data, optimizing the timing of fire to maximize hit probability. All engagement decisions and responsibility for aiming remain entirely with the user, who pulls the trigger for the first shot. Arbel then analyzes the shooter’s handling and weapon movement to determine the ideal moment to release each follow-up shot, as long as the operator maintains trigger pressure. Powered by an integrated battery, the system comes integrated in the lower receiver of AR-15 platform rifles, or as an external unit attached to the handgrip of the Negev machine gun.

Fabarm P.S.S.10 12-ga anti-drone shotgun

The Fabarm P.S.S.10 semi-automatic anti-drone shotgun in 12-gauge with Magnum chamber has a tubular magazine with a capacity of 9+1 rounds.

As was the case last year, drone defense plays a central role at Enforce Tac 2026, covering every conceivable scenario in the military and law enforcement sectors. The Fabarm P.S.S.10 (Practical Shooting Shotgun 10) semi-automatic shotgun in 12 ga with 76-mm (3”) chamber and 25”/635 mm barrel falls under the “last mile” concept, i.e. at distances between 10 and 100 meters, where electronic defense systems such as jammers have already failed. The P.S.S.10 is a gas-operated gun using Fabarm's own Pulse Piston system. Capacity is 9+1 rounds.

Fabarm QTA (Quick Target Acquisition) sights are specifically designed to effectively target drones.

In urban scenarios – such as protecting stadiums or events – shotguns are less dangerous to the surrounding area than rifles: falling shot poses a significantly lower risk than rifle projectiles. A key technical feature, the Fabarm P.S.S.10 is overpressure tested to 1,630 bar with steel shot cartridges, which significantly exceeds the CIP standard of 1,320 bar for steel shot and allows the safe use of special law enforcement ammo even with a full choke.

In terms of equipment, the P.S.S.10 has a long Picatinny rail on the receiver and barrel, adjustable sights, and a choice of fixed or folding stock for compact transport in a vehicle. The shotgun in the images is also fitted with Fabarm's proprietary QTA (Quick Target Acquisition) fiber-optic sights designed to counter fast-moving FPV drones.

Hornady at Enforce Tac 2026: interview with Steve Catlett

At the Hornady booth we had the opportunity to interview Steve Catlett, Hornady's International Sales Manager, who focused on two “hot” cartridges that are particularly relevant for many users at the moment: the 6mm ARC and .338 ARC. The acronym ARC stands for “Advanced Rifle Cartridge”, and both the 6mm ARC and .338 ARC are coming to Europe. The 6mm ARC is an extremely versatile cartridge that provides unprecedented levels of performance in a compact platform, well-suited for personal defense, match shooting, hunting as well as military and law enforcement use. The .338 ARC, whose CIP approval is imminent, has been developed for defensive and law enforcement use in AR15-style semi-automatic rifles. It's designed to provide considerable penetration and “punch” even at subsonic speeds – for use with suppressors – thanks to its massive bullet. More info and details in the interview: enjoy!

MEN, new lead-free ammunition from Germany

Since 1957, and based in Nassau (Germany), Metallwerk Elisenhütte GmbH has been manufacturing high-quality small arms ammunition characterized by innovation and precision. The product lineup is structured into a Military Line, a Police Line and a Sniper Line. At Enforce Tac 2026, MEN – that's the German manufacturer's name for short – showcased some of its most recent products. These include a new .300 AAC Blackout subsonic load with a lead-free deformation bullet, a 9x19mm subsonic deformation round, and the 9x19mm MCP 2.0, a special supersonic bonded bullet designed for law enforcement that fulfills the FBI test protocol.

Sabre Launcher: fully pneumatic less-than-lethal

Less-then-lethal alternatives to firearms are used by law enforcement and security personnel for crowd control and to incapacitate suspects while minimizing fatalities. The Sabre 0.68 caliber fully pneumatic semi-automatic carbine launcher uses compressed air to fire different non-lethal projectiles. Eight projectile types are available – four irritant and four non-irritant – including CS rounds, impact rounds (just rubber balls) and inert training talcum powder rounds. Maximum range for area saturation is around 53 meters, with “torso accuracy” up to to about 18 meters. The hopper holds up to 180 projectiles and a full air tank is enough for about 300 shots. The Sabre launcher also has three Picatinny rails where any accessory – such as flashlights and red dots – can be mounted.

Leupold MX-6HD, new high-end spotting scope

At Enforce Tac Leupold unveiled the brand-new MX-6HD, a high-end 8-48x60mm spotting scope with a 60mm objective lens. Leupold's Mark 4 spotting scope has been the benchmark in LE and military circles for decades. With the MX-6HD model Leupold now presents a worthy successor. A new and improved version of Mark 4 series that ”brings it to the 21st century”, among the MX-6HD features there are the 6:1 zoom range and 8-48x magnification power (the previous Mark 4 was 12-40), a side image focus with separate diopter adjustment in the back, an M-LOK interface for laser rangefinders on the side,  built-in Picatinny and Arca-Swiss mounting systems, and flip up covers front and back. An adapter plate with a front flip-up rail is also available as an accessory, which additionally enables the use of thermal or night vision clip-ons. Heavily ribbed controls ensure safe handling even when wearing thick gloves. In addition, the adjustment is particularly smooth and very precise, as we were able to see for ourselves on site. A wide variety of FFP reticles is available, ranging from competition reticles to military grade reticles such as H-32, Tremor 4, and TMR. Housing is lightweight magnesium, which keeps weight at around 1.4 kilograms – remarkable for this performance class and also interesting for mountain hunters. MSRP in the USA will be in the $4,000-4,500 mark depending on reticle.

Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical SPX

The US company that has become synonymous with pump-action shotguns for law-enforcement use showcased its latest creation for the LE world at Enforce Tac. It’s called the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical SPX, a thoroughly updated, versatile gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun. Its most obvious feature is the receiver, which is cut for direct mounting of an RMSc-footprint red-dot optic.

The shotgun comes with adapter plates for RMR, Docter, and Leupold footprints. It is also drilled and tapped for traditional optic mounts. The Micro Dot Combo version comes with a factory installed and zeroed Holosun HS407K red dot. The iron sights are made up of a low-profile ghost-ring rear aperture paired with a highly visible fiber-optic front sight. The fore-end/handguard features an innovative design and, in addition to incorporating a heat shield that protects from the the hot barrel, provides the user with M-LOK slots on three sides and QD sling mounting points. Controls such as the tang safety, bolt release, and charging handle are oversized. Length of pull can be adjusted to the user’s build by combining spacer shims. On the left side of the receiver there’s a six-shell Vang Comp side ammo carrier. The finish is either black or Cerakote in Flat Dark Earth (tan) or OD Green (olive drab) color, providing a high level of wear and weather resistance. The U.S. Price tag is $1,246.
