EnforceTac 2026 in Nuremberg: All info and innovations from the major trade fair for law enforcement, security agencies and the military

As soon as you enter the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, it becomes clear that Enforce Tac is not a stage for effects, but a working place for professionals: this is where manufacturers, specialists and decision-makers meet to present and discuss the latest solutions and technologies for internal and external security. In 2026, the trade fair will once again be accompanied by a packed program of specialist presentations, conferences and various exhibition formats. A political signal is also new this year: Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz has assumed patronage of the trade fair. A glance at the list of exhibitors emphasizes the scale of the event, with 1,450 exhibitors listed. At the same time, the framework remains clearly defined: Enforce Tac is an event with restricted admission and is only accessible to members of the armed forces as well as law enforcement and organizations with police or military security tasks – the security precautions on site are correspondingly strict.

CZ P13, the new German Army service pistol

At Enforce Tac 2026 CZ showcased the new German Army (Bundeswehr) service pistol, designated as P13 and based on the 9mm CZ P-10 C OR (Optics-Ready) compact model. We already introduced the P13 here on all4shooters.com: the new pistol – that in the German Army will replace the P8 A1 based on the Heckler & Koch USP (Universal Self-loading Pistol) handgun, adopted by the Germans in 1994 – comes with a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish. It is a 9mm polymer-framed, striker-fired gun featuring a compact design with a 4”/102 mm barrel, interchangeable backstraps and 15-round magazine capacity. Weight is 746 g. To meet the Bundeswehr’s requirements, the P13 is equipped with tritium sights and is optic-ready.

Arex AMG556 light machine gun

At the Arex booth we were introduced to the Arex AMG556 light machine gun in 5.56 NATO. Where did we see it? Experts will recognize the Caracal Light Machine Gun, aka CLMG 556, that was introduced in 2023. Whatever we call it, we have here a fully automatic, belt-fed light machine gun based on the well-known FN Minimi. Similarly to the Minimi, it fires from an open bolt and is gas-operated with a long-stroke piston system. The barrel change mechanism is also the same as the the standard FN system. (Barrels of different lengths are available.) However, the Arex AMG556 can't be fed from box magazines: the dual feed feature has been removed to eliminate a potential failure and reduce both complexity and cost. Gas system is adjustable. The cold-hammer forged barrel is chrome lined, and bolt guide lines and feeding system are also chrome-plated. The gun has mounting points for tripod or vehicle mounting and comes with a five-position telescopic adjustable stock with a shoulder stop and a three-position adjustable comb. A MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for mounting optics is located on the feed tray cover. According to the manufacturer, there will also be a 7.62 variant.

A high-end sniper rifle from Solid Solution Designs – from the Netherlands

A very dangerous tool” is how Harry Drescher of Solid Solution Designs describes their feature- and technology-packed sniper rifle chambered for the 375 EnABELR cartridge. The latter was developed by Applied Ballistics to provide magazine-fed capability with high ballistic coefficient (BC) solid bullets, specifically targeting performance similar to the .375 CT but in a shorter, more practical package. (The .375 EnABELR achieves a velocity of 2,980 feet per second (FPS) with Cutting Edge 402-grain solid bullets fired from a 29-inch barrel with a 1 in 7 twist with extreme long-range accuracy up to 2,500 meters.) The rifle comes with a Pierce Engineering 10x action developed for ELR type rifles and a new structured barrel engineered to reduce mirage and guarantee the same accuracy irrespective of barrel temperature. The rifle is also fitted with very interesting optics, including the TACOM HQ Charlie TARAC (Target Acquisition) and Zero Compromise ZC840 riflescope in the new Bundeswehr sand color finish. The Charlie TARAC is an optical accessory that shifts an incoming target image with mirrors (like a periscope) adding up to 120+ MILs (or 400 MOA) to scopes without having to change rails, rings, cheek piece, or 100 yard zero. The Zero Compromise ZC840 8-40 riflescope, for its part, features a 56-mm objective lens has an elevation adjustment range of 27mils and a field of view of 4.6m/100m - 1.0m/100m at 40x magnification.

Penn Arms PG640-LR, pump-lock multi-launcher

Penn Arms launchers are used by law enforcement, corrections and the military, and are available as both single-shot and multi-shot models. Based on the less-lethal version and designed for military use, the Penn Arms PG640-LR is a break-action, rotary multi-launcher designed for 40x46mm grenades and featuring a pump lock. This means that to index the cylinder and fire a new grenade you have to operate the pump lock release on the front. Capacity is 6 shots, and barrel is 12” long, equal to about 305 mm. The 6” cylinder is machined from a solid piece of aluminum, and a non-reflective dull black corrosion resistant finish protects the launcher, receiver and grip. The Penn Arms PG640-LR is available with both fixed and collapsible stocks.

RWS 9mm ACTION PI SXF and 5.56 LF TRAINING SX training loads

Two new RWS training loads in the ACTION Line and DAG Line product ranges: the 9x19 ACTION PI SXF and 5.56x45 LF TRAINING SX. The 9x19 ACTION PI SXF cartridge (left) features a 6.0 g/93 gr bullet with a soft iron core in combination with a classic full metal jacket design (tombac).

From RWS, two new training loads expanding the ACTION Line and DAG Line product ranges respectively, the 9x19 ACTION PI SXF and 5.56x45 LF TRAINING SX. Featuring lead-free bullets and heavy metal-free primers, they are ideal for closed shooting ranges and training facilities. Under the claim “Effective training without compromise,” RWS expands its ACTION Line and DAG Line product ranges with two new training loads: the 9x19 ACTION PI SXF (ACTION Line) and 5.56x45 LF TRAINING SX (DAG Line) have been specifically developed for use in closed shooting ranges and training facilities. Both loads feature lead-free bullets and RWS’s heavy metal-free SINTOX primers, providing an effective and low-emission training solution for law enforcement agencies, security forces, and military users.

RWS 9x19 ACTION PI SXF – Suitable for handguns as well as for submachine guns, the RWS ACTION PI SXF in 9x19 or 9mm Luger uses a 6.0 g/93 gr bullet with a soft iron core in combination with a classic full metal jacket design (tombac). Velocity (v3) is 415 m/s (1,362 fps), energy is 517 J (from a 100 mm barrel). Being completely free of heavy metals and in combination with the SINTOX Forensis primer used in all ACTION Line products, the cartridge minimizes pollutant emissions. Moreover, the SINTOX Forensis enables forensic analysis.

The RWS 5.56x45 LF TRAINING SX (bottom) uses a 2.8 g/43 gr semi-jacketed bullet with a tin core surrounded by a tombac jacket.

5.56x45 LF TRAINING SX –
Like its 9mm sibling, the 5.56x45 LF TRAINING SX from the DAG Line by RWS is also a lead-free training cartridge. The 2.8 g/43 gr semi-jacketed bullet has a tin core surrounded by a tombac jacket. The closed jacket at the tip and the optimized bullet shape significantly reduces the risk of ricochets. Velocity (v10) is 940 m/s (3084 fps), energy is 1,238 J (from a 508 mm barrel). The low-pollutant SINTOX primer can also be found here, together with a REACH-compliant double based nitrocellulose propellant powder. RWS product solutions from the DAG Line cover five calibers with a wide variety of bullets and loads: 9x19, 4.6x30, 5.56x45, 12/70, and, as of this year, 5.45x39. (The 5.45x39 range feature the corrosion-free SINOXID primer).

Steyr SSG M1, the next generation

The new Steyr SSG M1 sniper rifle is available in 6.5 Creedmor, .308 Winchester, and .338 Lapua Magnum calibers.

The acronym SSG stands for Scharfschützengewehr, meaning sniper rifle in German, and since 1969 it has been inextricably linked to one of the most famous sniper rifles in history manufactured by Steyr. Over the course of almost sixty years, this iconic firearm has evolved and transformed, and its most modern iteration was presented at Enforce Tac 2026. The Steyr SSG M1 is a bolt-action rifle with interchangeable barrels, currently chambered in 6.5 Creedmor, .308 Winchester, and .338 Lapua Magnum. The standard barrel length of the Steyr SSG M1 is 20”/508, 25”/635, or 27.16”/690 mm depending on the caliber. The longer barrel is reserved for the .338 Lapua Mag. caliber only.

The Steyr SSG M1 has an ambidextrous AR15-type fire selector and an interchangeable pistol grip. Note the dust cover, shown here open.
The stock folds sideways and allows maximum freedom of adjustment for the butt plate and cheek piece.

The lightweight alloy chassis with folding stock is fully adjustable and is available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, or OD Green finishes. The pistol grip is easily interchangeable with different sizes, and the fire selector is on both sides of the receiver. An interesting feature is the protective cover over the ejection port, which prevents dirt and foreign objects from getting into the action. The cover opens automatically when the bolt handle is operated. The magazine is double-stack with a capacity of ten rounds, and the 30 MOA Picatinny rail allows for the mounting of optics and electronic sighting systems. The Steyr SSG M1's light alloy handguard with M-LOK slots is designed for accessories, while the Arca Swiss rail on the underside of the chassis is for bipod mounting. The trigger assembly allows you to adjust travel and pull weight. The Steyr SSG M1 weighs 6,820 grams in the 690-mm barrel version. The same version measures 1,280 mm with the stock extended and 1,080 mm with the stock folded. No official price has been set yet.
