According to Taurus, the long barrel is engineered to elevate .45 Colt terminal ballistics while guaranteeing pinpoint accuracy. A top aluminum Picatinny rail allows for the mounting of optics. Another forward rail on the handguard will accept home defense accessories such as gunlights or lasers. The Judge Home Defender comes standard with mechanical rear and front sights, anyway.
