New SIG Sauer P365X ROMEOZero, a concealable and versatile carry pistol

New P365X ROMEOZero, the name says it all – almost. The latest addition to SIG Sauer's P365 series of 9mm pistols comes in fact equipped with a factory-installed SIG RomeoZero 3 MOA micro red dot sight. But not just that: a 3.1”/78 mm barrel, the XSeries grip module with a 12 round flush-fit magazine and the XSeries flat trigger are the features that contribute to bring “a new level of performance to your EDC”, according to the manufacturer.

The pistol comes factory with a SIG RomeoZero 3 MOA micro red dot sight installed.
The P365X ROMEOZero also has an XRAY3 Day/Night Front Sight
The P365X ROMEOZero also has an XRAY3 Day/Night Front Sight – there is an integrated rear sight notch for co-witness.

The SIG Sauer Electro-Optics ROMEZero micro-open reflex sight is especially optimized for everyday concealed carry, featuring a ruggedized textured polymer body, Spectracoat Polymer lens system, and 8 user-configurable daytime illumination levels, MOTAC (motion activated illumination system). The highly efficient point source LED emitter provides a crisp dot that’s 8 times more efficient than conventional red dots. As for iron sights in case you don't want to use the red dot, the gun also sports XRAY3 Day/Night Front Sight – the ROMEOZero provides an integrated rear sight notch for co-witness. The pistol is compatible with the 365XL rear sight assembly, anyway.  The gun is shipped with two magazines. MSRP is not currently available – but consider that the ROMEOZero red dot sight alone has a price tag of $219.99.

P365X ROMEOZero, a new level of performance

With a 12-round magazine, the SIG Sauer P365X ROMEOZero is a comfortable concealed carry pistol.

“The introduction of the P365X ROMEOZero further redefines everyday carry by combining the XSERIES features first introduced with the popular P365XL – including the larger grip module and XSERIES trigger – with the shorter 3.1 inch barrel of the original P365, making it an all-around more comfortable concealed carry pistol,”  says Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, SIG Sauer, Inc. For better accuracy, the P365X ROMEOZero maintains the same crisp trigger pull of the P365 thanks to the XSeries flat trigger with a 90-degree break.

As for other features, just like the rest of the P365 family (we fully tested the P365 model some time ago) the SIG SAUER P365X ROMEOZero is a micro-compact striker-fired pistol, featuring the XSeries P365 grip module with an integrated carry magwell and extended beavertail.
