Heckler & Koch SFP9 semiautomatic pistol

TFC S.r.l. showcased the 9x21mm IMI version of the Heckler & Koch SFP9 semi-automatic pistol at the 2016 edition of the HIT Show
Over one year after its launch, the new Heckler & Koch striker-fired polymer-frame semi-automatic pistol is finally being distributed all around Europe

Introduced as the VP9 in north America in late 2014 and as the SFP9 in Europe at the 2015 edition of the IWA OutdoorClassics expo in Nuremberg (Germany), the new Heckler & Koch semi-automatic striker-fired pistol is now available in Italy through the German brand's official local distributor − the TFC S.r.l. company, headquartered in the northern Italian town of Villa Carcina (BS).

The Heckler & Koch SFP9 semi-automatic pistol sports a pre-armed striker and a 24N single-action trigger with a 6mm travel and a 3mm reset; for the Italian civilian market, it has been rechambered for the local 9x21 IMI cartridge. The Heckler & Koch SFP9 feeds through the standard 15-rounds, double-stack metal magazines previously used by Heckler & Koch's own P3000/P30 pistols, in order to facilitate interoperability.

The polymer frame of the SFP9 pistol sports and ergonomically-shaped pistol grip with interchangeable panels, a front MIL-STD-1913 "Picatinny" rail for accessories, a Combat-type trigger guard, and is available in black and RAL-8000 brown. All controls are ambidextrous − exception made for the takedown lever, located only on the left side of the frame. The blued, machined stainless steel slide sports front and rear serrations, quick-align adjustable and replaceable front and rear sights, and two metal lugs protruding from its rear portion to provide a secure hold and quick hand-racking capabilities in all conditions.
