On 15 April, in the Salone degli Arazzi of Palazzo Piacentini, the headquarters of the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy in Rome, the commemorative stamp dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta was presented, as part of the philatelic series "The Excellence of the Production System and Made in Italy". An acknowledgement that places Beretta among the companies that have contributed, over time, to building the country's industrial identity.
The stamp was designed in-house and bears the signature of designer Marco Martelli. In the center stands the Beretta 500th anniversary logo, surrounded by a graphic spark symbolizing continuity, energy, and Beretta’s enduring ability to innovate over time. In the background, the date 1526, the year the company was founded, emerges in a calligraphic typeface specially created to celebrate this unique milestone.
The ceremony was attended by Carlo Gussalli Beretta, representative of the company's sixteenth generation, who, on behalf of the family and all the people working in the Group today, expressed heartfelt thanks to the Italian Undersecretary of State with responsibility for Philately, Fausta Bergamotto, to the Italian Post Office and to the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (IPZS, the Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute).
The commemorative stamp for Beretta's 500th anniversary

The postage stamp dedicated to Beretta is part of an official issue of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy and is printed by IPZS. It is a small object that encapsulates a great story: that of a company that, from 1526 to the present day, has been able to traverse the centuries while maintaining its values firmly intact, constantly dialoguing between tradition and innovation.

"In such a significant year for its history, Beretta once again entrusts to the culture and symbols of Made in Italy the story of an industrial journey that continues to look to the future, without ever forgetting its roots," explains Carlo Gussalli Beretta. "Our 500th anniversary is therefore a commitment to the future, not a celebration of the past. A commitment that naturally dialogues with the mission of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy: to demonstrate that Italian industry can be solid, innovative, responsible and competitive in global markets. On behalf of my family, my grandfather Ugo, my father Franco and my uncle Pietro, and the people who work at Beretta, I renew a pact of trust with the institutions and with the country: we will commit ourselves and continue to generate industrial, human and social value, bringing to the world a Made in Italy that looks to the future with vision and responsibility." Enthusiasts will be able to purchase this celebratory symbol on Beretta's e-commerce portal in two versions: in addition to the limited edition philatelic card, Beretta has also created a philatelic folder that contains evocative images of the company between tradition and innovation. The folder contains:
- 1 card
- 1 cancelled postcard
- 1 illustrated bulletin
- 1 stamp
- 1 personalized envelope
- 1 block of four stamps
The cancelled postcard, dedicated to the commemorative stamp, depicts the engraved coin featuring the Beretta villa in Gardone Val Trompia, a symbolic place in the company’s history. The illustrated bulletin includes an article signed by Ugo, Pietro and Franco Gussalli Beretta, reflecting on the company’s values, history and the significance of this important milestone.
The personalized envelope, postcard and bulletin all bear the official postmark featuring the 500th anniversary logo and the stamp’s issue date (9 April 2026), enhancing the philatelic and collectible value of the folder.
Designed for collectors, enthusiasts and admirers of the brand, this philatelic folder makes it possible to preserve an authentic fragment of Beretta history, combining tradition, identity and institutional value in a single exclusive edition.
