Garmin Xero C1 Pro, the compact-sized ballistic radar chronograph

The Garmin Xero C1 Pro can also be used to chronograph arrows and airsoft pellets.

The Garmin Xero C1 Pro, the high-precision compact chronograph that until now could only be appreciated by the U.S. market, is finally available in Europe. Our colleague Franco Palamaro had the opportunity to try it out for the first time during his trip to the United States, which took him to visit prestigious companies such as Hornady, Savage and Leupold, and culminated in an exciting pronghorn hunting trip to Colorado.

The ease of transport, configuration and use make the Garmin Xero C1 Pro a unique product thanks to the radar detection of bullets velocities that makes obsolete the optical sensors found on first-generation chronographs, an eternal source of complications. The Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph is small in size and can simply be placed on the shooting bench. Thanks to the ShotView app for compatible smartphones, all data relating to shots fired and bullet velocity can be easily and conveniently accessed directly from your phone.

Xero C1 Pro: a revolution from the GPS specialists

The display of the Garmin Xero C1 Pro is easy to read even in strong ambient light.

The Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph meets the needs of all shooters, not just those using rifles or pistols. In fact, the Xero C1 Pro is able to capture extremely reliable data from air rifles, airsoft replicas, bows and crossbows, by measuring speeds ranging from 100 to 5,000 fps. During a shooting session, Xero C1 Pro displays data that are essential for analysing your results: single shot velocity, Standard Deviation (SD) and Extreme Spread (ES) of each session.

Once the shooting session is complete, the Garmin Xero C1 Pro is able to provide a summary, that can be seen on the integrated display optimised for intuitive reading. Full data management via the app allows for customised notes and key data such as power factor and kinetic energy at the muzzle.

Xero C1 Pro: compact and easy to use

The extremely small size of the Garmin Xero C1 Pro is the real and surprising novelty in the chronograph market. Smaller than a deck of cards (80 mm x 61 mm x 35 mm) and weighing around 100 grams, the Xero C1 Pro is perfect for stowing in a rucksack pocket or in the rifle case itself. The Xero C1 Pro chronograph is always ready for use in any environment, thanks to its high water-resistance rating (IPX7 standard), clean design, small but effective tripod and a monochrome display that is ideal for reading even in bright ambient light. Thanks to the rechargeable lithium-ion battery, up to 2,000 shots can be measured on a single charge.

The ShotView App, the heart of the Garmin system

At the end of your shooting session, Xero C1 Pro will automatically synchronise with the new ShotView app. The app, which is available free of charge for both iOS and Android, displays information with clear and customisable pages for quick and correct interpretation. Users can mark shots and exclude outliers from session calculations. It is also possible to customise each session and add detailed notes both for specific shots and for the entire session.

The Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph is available now from authorised dealers at a recommended retail price of €599.99.
