The first 35 years of Waffen Ferkinghoff, firearms and accessories from the USA to Europe

For 35 years, Ferkinghoff has been taking care of the European distribution of leading US brands of hunting, shooting sports and safety products. The company operates as a general importer for numerous brands to Europe and  thanks to its e-commerce site, offers the possibility of advantageous shopping also outside Germany.

The German company is growing strongly and steadily and this was evident when visiting their booth at this year's IWA Outdoor Classics. Present in the Ferkinghoff American Village were established "Made in USA" partners and brands such as Kahr Firearms, Auto Ordnance, Desert Eagle, O.F. Mossberg Trijicon, Bulldog Cases, Primary Arms Optics to which others have recently been added.

Collaboration with Canadian trigger manufacturer TriggerTech and Texas-based CMC Triggers has led to a complete expansion of the product range dedicated to hunting, sports shooting and tactical shooting.

Drop-in triggers from the Texas company CMC have a straight trigger blade and are available as single- or two-stage.

Each of these brands brings its own individual strengths to the Ferkinghoff catalog. TriggerTech relies on its patented ZeroCreep technology that eliminates any trigger creep by using a roller instead of sliding friction between two components. This results in a crisp break and also increases the longevity of the entire trigger group.

The catalog offers a wide selection of trigger kits with different quality levels for AR and Remington type rifles. The Texan manufacturer CMC Triggers, on the other hand, is known for its AR drop-in triggers in single-stage or two-stage versions for AR-10 and AR-15 type rifles, which are also particularly suitable for pistol caliber carbines. The trigger is easy to install, without any special equipment. The reciprocal moving parts of the triggers have a surface finish of 1-2 according to the RMS (Root Mean Square) measurement – for comparison, a mirror has an RMS of 0 –  which ensures a clean and crisp trigger break. In addition, the reduced surface roughness results in less wear and consistent reliability.

With the distribution of these brands, Ferkinghoff confirms its special focus on the aftermarket trigger kit sector, which responds to the increasingly evident trend towards rifle customisation. The possibility to mount an interchangeable trigger group easily and without great expense is certainly one of the first factors to take into account in order to get all the precision out of your rifle. By visiting the Waffen Ferkinghoff e-commerce site, you can get an idea of the great choice and price levels in this field.
