We’re excited to change that starting with these two new products.” With these words Jason Christensen, President of Christensen Arms, announces the new Titanium Editions of their Mesa and their Ridgeline hunting rifles, expressly built “to be the most affordable precision titanium action rifles on the market.”
According to the manufacturer,
at 1795 USD the Mesa Titanium Edition is the most accessible titanium action rifle ever built.
We were unable to verify the claim, but the price is interesting indeed, especially considering the rifle features, that include a
featherlight contour 416R stainless steel barrel with a bead blasted finish
, a skeletonized bolt handle,
removable seamless radial brake
, a custom Titanium Edition floorplate and a carbon fiber composite sporter stock which is painted with a new metallic grey and black webbing look. The special edition of this compact hunting rifle is offered in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and .300 Winchester Magnum. It weighs in starting at 6.1 pounds (2.7 kg).

Christensen Arms Ridgeline Titanium Edition
A tad bit more expensive, the Ridgeline Titanium Edition has a price tag of 2495 USD. It combines a precision titanium action with a Christensen Arms 416R Stainless Steel Aerograde carbon fiber wrapped and button rifled barrel. The Ridgeline Titanium Edition also sports a titanium radial brake (removable), twin-lug spiral fluted bolt, custom Titanium Edition floorplate, and a carbon fiber composite sporter stock, plus a M16 style extractor and fluted bolt knob. It's offered in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and .300 Winchester Magnum and weighs in starting at 5.8 pounds (2.6 kg).
Both Titanium Edition rifles share some standard Christensen features, such as a receiver with enlarged ejection port, match-grade trigger (2.5-3.5 lb), improved bolt release and a 4-round (3 for Magnum versions) internal magazine, as well as Invar pillars, spot bedding and limbsaver recoil pad. Christensen Arms also guarantees sub-MOA accuracy.
The Titaniium Edition rifles are available in the US. We don't know whether they'll be available in Europa at present.
