Founded in 1996 in Cleveland, Illinois (USA), Rock River Arms has been specializing for many years in AR style rifles in a variety of calibers. Their latest additions now include a  version chambered in the “nostalgic”, straight-wall design – i.e. non-bottlenecked – .350 Legend cartridge. The new LAR-15M CAR A4 carbine have been in fact developed as “a modern hunting firearm with minimal recoil and dominant short- to mid-range capabilities.”

The RRA LAR-15M CAR A4 .350 Legend takes advantage of these qualities, offering power and accuracy and providing reduced recoil. Its 16”/ 416 mm chrome moly cryo-treated barrel with 1:16 twist is threaded and factory equipped with an RRA military style brake – the barrel is also available in stainless steel. Upper and lower are forged steel, while the 13"/ 330 mm lightweight handguard is free-floating and M-LOK compatible for accessory attachments. A full length top rails allows for the mounting of optics. The handguard covers a low-profile gas block and CAR-length gas system. A two-stage trigger provides a crisp break and features a wide winter trigger guard for full dexterity even when wearing gloves.

Standard equipment for the RRA LAR-15M .350 Legend includes a six-position Operator CAR stock and an overmolded A2 pistol grip.

For a MSRP of 1100 USD (1150 USD for the stainless steel barrel version), the rifle comes with a sturdy hard-plastic case, a 10-round magazine, owner’s manual and warranty.
