Desert Tech's Quattro system was for some time available as a lower receiver only for use on existing rifles. But now a complete firearm employing this revolutionary innovation has been unveiled.

The semi-automatic Quattro-15 Duty Rifle might seem at first glance to be yet another US-made "Black Rifle", refined but basically very similar to many others on the market. But as the name suggests, the Quattro-15 is distinguished by its revolutionary 53-round QMAG-53 Quad-Stack magazines, which offer 80 per cent more capacity than standard 30-round magazines.
This innovation allows operators, for example, to carry 210 rounds in just four magazines, reducing reloads by 50 per cent and load weight by 8 per cent. Compact and durable, the QMAG-53 fits into standard mag pouches and is designed to be reliable in high volume full-auto suppressed fire mode. Its simple design with a single follower and spring and reduced friction points ensure consistent feeding, even with long match-grade ammunition, while its durable construction allows for years of use without spring fatigue.
The Match grade stainless steel barrel has a .223 Wylde chamber and can therefore shoot both .223 REM and 5.56 NATO cartridges without any problems. The nitrided finish on the receiver increases durability and prevents corrosion, while the mid-length gas system reduces recoil, allowing for faster follow-up shots. Thanks to the Match Duty trigger, which offers a crisp, clean break and minimal overtravel, the Quattro-15 provides superior accuracy and control in any environment. The nickel Teflon coating on the trigger increases smoothness, making it reliable even in difficult conditions.
Desert Tech Quattro 15, military-grade reliability

The enhanced bolt carrier group of the Quattro-15 Duty maximises reliability, thanks to a mid-length direct impingement gas system and dual ejectors. The barrel is chrome-lined and finished externally with a phosphate coating, and offers flawless accuracy even under extreme conditions. The rifle's ergonomic design includes a slim 13.7" MLOK handguard, an optimised grip angle and fully ambidextrous controls for safe handling of the gun even in extreme operating situations.
Finally, the Quattro-15 is fully compatible with all modern accessories, such as suppressors, optics, lasers and other accessories. The rugged Picatinny rail and MLOK system offer extensive mounting possibilities. Balancing innovation, reliability and versatility, the Quattro-15 sets a new standard of performance. The US retail price of the Quattro-15 semi-automatic rifle is $1,899.99. The QMAG-53 magazine costs $45.
