New Alpha Wolf Shadow, high power in two calibers
Daystate has announced a new version of the award-winning Alpha Wolf air rifle with electronic action, designed specifically for hunting and pest control. (In many European countries the use of air rifles for hunting is in fact perfectly legal.)
Available in .177 (4.5mm) and .22 (5.5mm) calibers, the Alpha Wolf's high-power models deliver 27 joules (4.5mm) and 61 joules (5.5mm) of energy. With a length of only 731 mm (the barrel is 430 mm long) and a weight of just over 3 kg, the Alpha Wolf Shadow compact rifle features a 300 cc carbon fiber-wrapped air bottle and an elegant Grey Shadow thumbhole stock. In addition to all the advantages of the Alpha Wolf electronic platform, other key features include:
- Lothar Walther 17" barrel
- SMART control electronics
- V3 Optic Race Rail
- Gecko butt pad
- BRK MF-121 moderator (where permitted)
- Fitted hard case
The Alpha Wolf Shadow features the same electronic interface as Daystate's SMART models, offering instant power adjustment at the touch of a screen, to prevent overpenetration when not needed. The Alpha Wolf Shadow’s short overall length and super pointable handling, combined with a sophisticated and proven electronic action and unerring accuracy, makes it ideal for hunting and pest control, especially in confined spaces like farm buildings, vehicles and hides.
