Staccato officially announced that effective November 17, 2025, they are discontinuing production of the 9mm Staccato C and Staccato CS pistol models. According to the manufacturer, “This decision allows us to streamline the catalog and reallocate manufacturing resources toward the continued expansion of the HD Line."
Staccato also informs that once current inventory is depleted, no new orders for the Staccato C or Staccato CS will be accepted and that the company will continue to support all Staccato C and CS pistols through their standard service and warranty processes.
The C2 series, on the other hand, will remain in production for the foreseeable future.
Staccato C, CS and HD: models and features

The Staccato C is part of the Staccato family of 2011 handguns – that is, double-stack 1911-style pistols. Designed for concealed carry, home defense and professional use. it is a 9mm semi-automatic with a 4-inch stainless steel barrel with a thick "bull" profile, fed from 15+1-round or 17+1 double-stack magazines (you can choose between the compact 15 round or full-size 17-round) grip options). Frame is aluminum. The extractor of the Staccato C is an external type, a solution that makes extraction jams even more unlikely. The pistol uses the Dawson Precision's proven Tool-less guide rod, requiring no tools for disassembly, while the factory trigger pull weight is 1.8-2 kilograms. The steel slide featuring cocking serrations also on the front is fitted with a set of windage-adjustable mechanical sights, with a front sight equipped with a high-visibility fiber optic insert. Immediately in front of the rear sight is the cut for direct mounting of mini-reflex optics. The barrel section visible through the ejection port echoes the slide serrations design. The manual thumb safety is ambidextrous, while the grip safety is a Wilson type.
With a shorter 3.5" bull barrel, the Staccato CS shares the same features but is more compact and lighter than the C model. It also comes optic ready with standard front sight and compatible to co-witness with most optics.
Lastly, the new HD line offers improved ergonomics, an optimised grip and compatibility with Glock magazines. It is currently available in two versions, P4 and P4.5, with the number referring to the respective barrel length. The HD pistols come in 9mm and are sold with a steel magazine with a capacity of 18 rounds. For more information, we already introduced the Staccato HD pistols here on all4shooters.com.
