Cabot Guns is a US manufacturer of high-end pistols, known for its dedication to engineering excellence and the use of unusual materials. Founded in Pennsylvania, the company specialises in the production of semi-automatic pistols based on the 1911 platform, reinterpreted with the highest quality materials and aerospace technology.
Today, Cabot Guns announced to the world the unveiling of the Apocalypse MAX, a 1911-style double-stack pistol with single-action trigger and stainless Damascus steel slide that represents an evolution of the Apocalypse introduced in 2021 to great success and immediately dubbed "The Rolls Royce of 1911 pistols". It is a pistol in which top-level craftsmanship and space-age technology coexist to create something unique.
Made in Cabot, Pennsylvania, this pistol features a stunning forged stainless Damascus steel slide with a proprietary etching process to create a one-of-a-kind pattern. Coated in a durable black Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) finish, the dark lows of the Damascus alternate with the polished stainless steel highs, delivering a stunning visual contrast. The slide has a large lightening cut on the top and front cocking serrations too.
Built on Cabot's first 5-inch double-stack platform with a full-length rail frame, the Apocalypse MAX offers the ultimate balance in this format, shifting the centre of gravity forward, thereby reducing muzzle flip and providing a refined and comfortable shooting experience. The meticulously sculpted 416 stainless steel grip and frame, all proudly made in the USA, provide flawless balance and a commanding presence.
