Discovery Optics started producing optical instruments in 2009 for the Chinese domestic market, mainly involved in the design and development of devices such as telescopes, rangefinders, sights and mobile phone cameras. In 2014, the first VT1 and VT2 series riflescopes were introduced, which were very successful and led the company to focus more on the riflescopes segment. In 2018, the range of ED scopes with Hoya's ED FCD100 Japanese glass lenses was introduced, featuring extremely low chromatic aberration and a bright, sharp image.

Today, Discovery Optics is a company that can boast an extensive catalog of optics, mounts and accessories, distributed worldwide. Among the various models, we have chosen the Discovery 6-24x50 SF which is suitable for mounting on both air guns and firearms. It is a scope with a 4X magnification, a 50mm objective lens and a main tube diameter of 30 mm.

In the eyepiece of the Discovery Optics 6-24x50 SF is a built-in bubble level that allows to check for rifle cant.

The Discovery 6-24x50 SF riflescope uses a non-illuminated Mil-Dot type reticle in the second focal plane. The reticle adjustment is 1/8 MOA per click, with a maximum adjustment range of 60 MOA. The optic has a Side Focus parallax correction that can be used from a target distance of 10 meters or more.
The Discovery 6-24x50 SF's housing is made from anodized aluminum with nitrogen filling, which prevents fogging. The lens surface treatment ensures an extremely sharp image, which can be appreciated both on the hunt and on the competition field.
Among the most peculiar features of this optics there is certainly the built-in bubble level in the eyepiece tube that allows to check for rifle cant, a typical requirement of Field Target competitions. The optics is of course compatible with all aftermarket accessories manufactured by Discovery Optics.
