In the new MAKhellfire pistol sights, three LED-illuminated points provide a clear target image. Basically, the MAKhellfire is a short gun sight system consisting of rear sight and front sight. Here, the innovative assembly relies on the classic three luminous dots for target acquisition. Two on the rear sight and one on the front sight.
The innovation now lies in the fact that these dots are not illuminated by conventional processes such as the use of tritium. Instead, LED technology is used. This actively illuminates the dots on the rear sight. The highlight with regard to the front sight, on the other hand, is the passive illumination of a reflection dot from the rear sight.

This offers several advantages: a button on the side not only allows the shooter to choose between six different brightness levels for all lighting conditions (night vision to maximum brightness), he/she can also choose between red or green illumination.
This means that the shooter's sight picture is always tailored to the environment and situation at hand, whereas conventional three-dot self-illuminated sights only offer a "one-size-fits-all" approach. In addition, the MAKhellfire offers automatic activation that can be switched on if desired.
