At the end of last April, more than 81,000 people attended the 2019 NRA annual meeting in Indianapolis. But 2019 also marks the 125th Anniversary of Savage Arms: the US company was in fact founded by Arthur Savage back in 1894. That’s why during the NRA show, Savage Arms launched a large variety of interesting new and updated models and added new calibers to existing models. Moreover, Savage partnered with Mossy Oak to create firearms with new Overwatch camouflage, the official pattern of the NRA. The unique pattern utilizes cutting-edge design technology and features the NRA logo embedded within the pattern.
The new Savage Overwatch Series includes seven rifle models:
- A22 FV-SR straight-blowback action semi-auto in 22 LR
- B Series bolt action in 22 LR and 17 HMR
- A17 semi-auto in 17 HMR
- MSR 15 Recon 2.0 semi-auto in 5.56x45mm/223 Rem.

In addition, Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a carbon steel barrel with a 9/16-24 threaded muzzle.
