Barrett MRADELR, the Extreme Long Range competition rifle

A new addition to Barret's bolt-action, magazine-fed MRAD rifle family: say welcome to the MRADELR in .416 Barrett. The manufacturer – an Australian-owned, American manufacturer – Is widely recognized as the world leader in long-range, large caliber precision rifle design and manufacturing: it introduced the famed .50 BMG M82 anti-materiel rifle and explosive ordnance disposal more than 40 years ago, and its products are currently used by civilians, sport shooters, law enforcement agencies, the U.S. military and more than 75 U.S. Department of State approved countries around the world. The newly released MRADELR is an Extreme Long Range platform (that's what “ELR” in the name stands for) in the form of a high quality, military tested, off-the-shelf system with user changeable barrels and calibers.

The Barrett MRADELR is an Extreme Long Range platform designed to deliver precision typically achieved only by custom-built rifles.

Chambered for the proprietary 416 Barrett cartridge (but additional large-caliber options are to come in the future), the MRADELR is expressly designed to “deliver precision typically achieved only by custom-built rifles”, as demonstrated  at the global “King of 2 Miles” competition, where the rifle earned a remarkable second place finish as a production rifle competing primarily against custom builds.
