For many years now, the GLOCK 19 has been the benchmark for compact, striker-fired, polymer-frame pistols. Many other manufacturers today offer gun models – often hastily defined as clones – strongly “inspired” by the GLOCK 19. But compared to the original, it is quite difficult to offer substantial improvements or truly innovative elements. That's why the competition shifts to price: enter the TriStar Arms APOC, a compact 9mm pistol “that delivers modern features and reliable performance” at an affordable price of $359.
TriStar APOC pistol, available in four color options

Actually manufactured in Turkey, the APOC is a carry pistol that features a compact polymer frame and slide, 4” barrel and 15-round magazine capacity – pretty familiar to G19 owners, uh? Steel front and rear sights with fiber-optic inserts provide fast target acquisition. The compact and balanced frame improves control and comfort, a molded accessory rail allows for the mounting of lights or lasers, while the dual slide serrations make manipulation easier. A textured memory pad is located forward of the trigger on both sides. Blackstraps are interchangeable Controls are the same as GLOCK's, and weight is around 700 grams.

You can choose your favorite frame color: available options include Black, Sniper Gray, Flat Dark Earth, OD Green. (Slide is available with black finish only.)

“Shooter feedback drove every decision on the APOC,” said Ryan Bader, President of TriStar Arms. “We set out to build a pistol that feels right in the hand, runs reliably, and is affordable for everyday use. What that means for pistol owners is simple: more time on the trigger, less time worrying about cost.”
As a footnote, when the APOC pistol line was firstly presented at the SHOT Show 2025, TriStar also claimed that most Gen 3 G19 components would interchange, but this claim has not been confirmed in later press releases.
The APOC is “built with everyday shooters in mind,” striking “a balance between performance and price,” they say at TriStar – and with a price tag of $359 that also includes two 15-round magazines, there is little to argue with.
